Peterborough United are looking to appoint a Full Time Professional Development Phase Lead Coach (Youth Team Manager) to join our Academy coaching team.
The role will be based at the Mick George Training Academy, leading the coaching programme for the Professional Development Phase.
This role would suit a hardworking, enthusiastic individual with a proven interest in football coaching, due to the nature of the role it would be advantageous for the successful applicant to be residing in the local area.
Job Purpose / Responsibilities:
To lead the coaching process for the Professional Development Phase and oversee the coaching infrastructure within the phase, including the management of squad players and the games programme.
Deliver the technical programme and player performance tracking.
Work with the Head of Recruitment to identify and integrate trialists into the development structure.
Assisting/Leading sessions for players on our full time or part time training programme in the Youth Development Phase.
Ensure all PMA requirements are met in line with Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) Rules.
Liaise with external partners to deliver the life skills and education programme.
UEFA A (Level 4) Coaching Certificate.
Working towards Advanced Youth Award (enrolled on course).
FA Youth Award.
Enhanced DBS Clearance.
Up to date FA Safeguarding Certificate.
Up to date FA Emergency Aid Certificate.
Up to date FA Coaching Licence.
Experience of working at a professional football club.
Full Clean Driving Licence.
Basic First Aid in Sport.
