Members of the Posh squad were at the Amazon Children's Ward of the Peterborough City Hospital to hand out Christmas presents to youngsters.

Peterborough United players and senior management staff were at the Amazon Children's Ward at the Peterborough City Hospital to hand out Christmas presents to youngsters who will unfortunately spend the festive period away from home.

Chief Executive Bob Symns was joined by Bobby Olejnik, Charlie Horton, Mark Little, Michael Bostwick, Grant McCann, Jack Payne, Kgosi Ntlhe, Lee Tomlin, Tyrone Barnett and Kyle Vassell at the ward.

Peter Burrow was also present to assist with the present delivery and meet the youngsters and nurses alike.

Once again, the presents were kindly donated to the club thanks to the assistance of Steve Anthony.

McCann said: 'I have been doing this for many years for this football club and it doesn't get any easier. It really does put life into perspective and I am so grateful that my children are healthy.

'It is good to come here and hand out some presents and hopefully put a few smiles on a few faces because it is horrible to be in hospital at any time, particularly at Christmas,' the Posh midfielder said.
