Posh back free tickets for troops scheme.
Peterborough United Football Club will once again be supporting the military charity, Tickets For Troops, for the home fixtures at the London Road Stadium this season (2012/13).
Tickets For Troops, which provides free tickets for sporting, musical and theatrical events to members of the Armed Forces, has had a longstanding partnership with The Football League since the charity was established in 2009 providing thousands of football tickets to service personnel. Over 17,500 tickets have currently been donated by Football League clubs across the UK for the 2012/13 season.
Peterborough United Football Club Ltd spokesperson said: 'The Armed forces do an incredible job and we at Peterborough United are delighted to confirm that we will once again by backing the Ticket for Troops initiative supported by the Football League. We have been supporters of this initiative since the start and we believe representatives of our Armed Forces should be rewarded in this way. We hope to see many members of the Troops at London Road and applaud them for their continued service. '
