The Deepings School recently held their annual Performance Faculty Presentation Evening and Head of Youth Dave Robertson was invited along to hand out awards to students for effort and commitment in the subjects Music, Physical Education, Dance and Drama.

Peterborough United scholar Dan Evans, who is a student at the school, was presented with an award for outstanding commitment in Physical Education.

Dave Robertson told theposh.com, 'I was extremely honoured to be invited to present the awards at the ceremony and it is fantastic example of the great work that Deeping School have done this year, which culminated in an outstanding grade in their Ofsted report.

'It was also fantastic to see the students at the school put on some superb performances and showcase the wonderful work that both the students and the staff put in. It was wonderful to be invited and highlights the strong partnership between the football club and the school.'
