Chairman Thrilled With Season Ticket Sales
Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony described news that the club have now sold over 5,600 season tickets for the 2009-2010 campaign as 'incredible' and believes supporters are in for an exciting season.
The figures are likely to increase with supporters still taking advantage of the attractive pricing and the newly-created Club 75 Lounge, which is proving popular with individuals and companies across the city.
MacAnthony told theposh.com: 'The response from the supporters has been absolutely incredible and to sell over 5,600 season tickets for the new campaign when we are still in early June is a fantastic achievement. We have a lot of attractive fixtures at London Road next season and I believe it will be an extremely exciting season for Posh fans.'
Season tickets are still on sale from the London Road Box Office, which is open from 9am until 5pm, Monday-Thursdays and from 10am until 5pm on Fridays. Supporters can also purchase a season ticket online at theposhtickets.com.
Remember, season ticket holders are admitted into home reserve fixtures free of charge and receive priority on cup fixtures and away games and with several high profile trips next term, it is important not to miss out!
