Important Information For Colchester Clash

Posted on: Wed 22 Apr 2009

All tickets in the Peterborough end are now sold and the club are keen to reiterate their position on away fans in home areas ahead of this game.

It is Colchester United's Ticket Office's policy to:-

not knowingly sell tickets in the 'home' areas to away fans and this will remain the case in the lead up to the game kicking off on Saturday.

not sell to anyone wearing away kit on the day of the match and anyone wearing away kit will not be allowed through the home turnstiles - and no refunds will be given in those instances.

It is also the case that any visiting supporters in the home areas who celebrate away goals or incite home fans will be ejected from the ground, with no refund again the policy in this situation.

Ticket Office Supervisor Katy Springett said: 'We are keen for everyone to have an enjoyable matchday experience and by following these club rules, we hope that we can ensure that people have a trouble free day.'

Supporters who have concessionary tickets for this weekend's game are also kindly reminded that they will need to have appropriate ID with them for Saturday's game as checks may be carried out.
