Peterborough United Football Club have today announced season ticket prices for the 2010-2011 campaign and although prices are set to rise, there are some fantastic savings to be made if you take advantage of the early purchase period.

The football club are committed to the fans of the future and as a result have kept season ticket prices for juniors under 16 at a superb low price. A junior can watch the action next season for just £70 (£3.04 per match) in the London Road Terrace or the seated areas in the North/South Stand if they purchase before mid-April.

We have also kept the successful kids under 10 go FREE scheme in the Norwich and Peterborough South Stand and North Stand (season tickets only), so any child under 10 will be able to obtain a season ticket for nothing when accompanied by an adult. Children under 10 will continue to be admitted FREE of charge on a match to match (South Stand only) basis too and juniors under 16 will be able to watch the action for just £5.

Chairman Darragh MacAnthony said: 'It is with much regret that we are having to announce that all prices for next season are to be raised. We have tried tremendously hard over the last three seasons to keep prices to a minimum whilst providing entertaining and exciting football.

'However, just like every other business out there, we have been hit with rising costs and these have been compounded by a near 79% increase in our rent, expensive maintenance & refurbishment charges and a potentially massive reduction in our Football League Basic Award.

'Having said this we still feel our prices will be competitive with the average cost per match for a Period 1 adult season ticket being under £12 with our under 10's still being admitted free of charge.

'Again I can only tell it as it is and hope that I can rely on your continued support and understanding as we keep building for the future. I am looking to smash the 5000 sales barrier matching last year's amazing effort by our fans and I only hope our loyal fan base helps us achieve this once more!

Season ticket renewal letters have been dispatched to over 5,500 existing season ticket holders. New member forms are available to download below and you can also secure your seat for next season online at www.theposhtickets.com or through the hotline 0844 847 1934 from Monday 8th March.
