Taylor On Target In Posh Draw

Posted on: Tue 12 Apr 2011

The Peterborough United reserve team conceded in the final five minutes at Rockingham Road as Kettering Town fought back for a 1-1 draw against a strong Posh side on Tuesday afternoon.

Paul Taylor netted the Posh opener with a well-taken free-kick and there were further chances for Posh with Ben Seymour-Shove and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing going close.

Kettering equalised on 85 minutes, which was a shame for goalkeeper Paul Jones who had made a host of excellent saves to preserve the lead.

All of the professionals in the starting line-up finished the 90 minutes including Lee Frecklington, Kelvin Langmead, Chris Whelpdale and Arron Davies.

Posh: Jones, Whelpdale, Piergianni, Langmead, Wickham, Frecklington, Davies, Taylor, Mendez-Laing, Evans, Seymour-Shove.
