The Peterborough United second string claimed an impressive 5-2 victory over Norwich City at London Road in the latest Totesport Football Combination League fixture.
Shaun Batt staked a claim for a first team spot against Reading by scoring twice and creating another as Posh overcame the Canaries.
Posh opened the scoring on two minutes as Dominic GREEN floated a superb free-kick into the top corner after Batt had been felled on the edge of the area.

Jamie Day curled a shot inches past the post on 42 minutes while Posh had appeals for a spot-kick turned down after Batt was pulled down by Gary Doherty.
Simon Whaley missed a good chance just after half-time before WRIGHT made it 4-1 with an excellent finish with the inside of his right boot after a flowing Posh move.
Norwich reduced the arrears to 4-2 on 80 minutes as Josh DAWKIN rounded McKeown and rolled the ball into the gaping goal.
The scoring was complete in stoppage time as Batt ran down the right hand side and delivered a low cross to substitute Nathan KORENTENG who squeezed the ball past Rudd via the post.
