The Northern Ireland international joined the club on a free transfer from Scunthorpe United. Gaining the captains armband in his first season, the midfielder went on to achieve the most assists in the division and played a key role in Posh's promotion back to the Championship. One of the most experienced members of the Posh squad and contributed 13 goals including the pick of the bunch in the final at Old Trafford.
