Peterborough United left-back Jamie Day has no concerns over his recovery from the back injury which ruled him out for the majority of the season.

Talking to BBC Radio Cambridgeshire the 22-year old said 'I'm still young and healthy and I know I will be fine, I've always known I'd come back from it. There was a worry at times but I've stayed positive like anyone would.'

The full-back has only appeared five times this season and hasn't featured since the 2-2 draw with Tranmere Rovers back in September and is looking positive following his return to training for Darren Ferguson's team.

'My body has been fine. Mentally it is just brilliant to be back in the swing of things. Just knowing that this is the start of my rehab and where I need to be is brilliant. I kind of knew before the surgery that I would not be playing again this season and it was just something I got my head around a long time ago,' Day said.
