Following the official news that the City Council has reached an agreement in principal to acquire the freehold of London Road to develop a community complex project that will encompass a new stadium model, Peterborough United Football Club wish to express their delight and support for this magnificent concept.

The benefit to the city and all of its people in regard to extended community facilities that will lead the design are immense, with the football club and its supporters receiving the added bonus of enjoying a much needed new stadium.

We would now ask all our supporters to convey their backing for this tremendous initiative by immediately writing to their respective Councillors and in turn urge them to support this iconic development for the city.
