Peterborough United Chairman Darragh MacAnthony has released the following statement:

'Yesterday I spent a few hours with the Manager in my office in Spain discussing recent speculation and of course the future. Darren would like me to make it clear on his behalf that he is perfectly happy at Peterborough United and is looking forward to the season ahead.

He has no interest in any other club and is 100% focused on the coming season and the challenge of making us a Premiership club. We both agreed the quicker the season starts, the better for all of us!'
