Statement From Darren Ferguson

Peterborough United manager Darren Ferguson has issued the following statement:

'Luckily, Charlie is making a full recovery. Grace is reasonably unscathed. Considering neither were wearing their booster seats or their seatbelts correctly, we have had a lucky escape.

'Personally, I would like to thank the hospital staff for all their support. They have been outstanding throughout this difficult time. I would also like to thank everybody for their best wishes and support over the last few weeks.'
