Peterborough United have issued the following statement.

'The Chairman, Board of Directors, players, staff and supporters of Peterborough United Football Club are saddened to learn of the serious car accident involving Darren Ferguson's two children and ex-wife that occurred yesterday.

All our thoughts and prayers are with Darren and his family at this difficult time.'
