Peterborough United manager Keith Alexander has added to his squad with the signing of Coventry City defender Ben Turner and attacking midfield man Liam Davis on short-term loan deals.

New signings Ben Turner and Liam Davis
Davis scored against Celtic in Richard Shaw's testimonial game earlier in the season, while Turner has appeared once in the senior side at the Ricoh Arena. Both players have been added to the squad for Saturday's trip to Swindon Town.
'I am a left-sided attacking player, but I play up front too. I have played a couple of times in the first team and went with Ben to America on tour. We both did well and we are coming to Peterborough for a bit of first team experience.
'It helps that we are signing together as it will help us settle in, but we already know a couple of the players at Posh. Trevor Benjamin and Stuart Wall have both spent time with Coventry and it will be good to meet up with them again,' Davis told theposh.com.
Centre back Ben Turner is looking forward to gaining some first team experience. Turner told theposh.com: 'I am a centre half and was involved in the senior side for the game at Stoke City. This is a great opportunity to get some first team experience under my belt and I can't wait to get started. I have been playing reserve team football this season, but I have signed pro with Coventry.
'The manager at Coventry has given us the chance to go out on loan and Peterborough are a good club. I am quite a determined lad and I am good in the air. I hope I get the chance to be involved,' Turner said.
Manager Alexander added: 'I have strengthened the squad with the signing of these two young lads. Liam is a quick lad and will give us extra options in attack, while Ben is a good defender. They have both signed on loan deals and we thank Micky Adams at Coventry for his help.'
