Official Statement From Steve Bleasdale

Steve Bleasdale has issued the following statement following Saturday's game with Bury at Gigg Lane.

'I wish to apologise unreservedly for any offence caused to the supporters and anyone connected with Bury Football Club during the match on Saturday. I apologised profusely following the match. I was just incensed about the penalty decision.

'There is no excuse, it was just the heat of the moment and I wish to reiterate that apology and wish Bury and all their supporters all the best for the rest of the season.'
