Pitch Undergoes Verti-Draining Exercise

The London Road pitch has been verti-drained and lifted this week ahead of Saturday's meeting with Lincoln City (3pm).
The verti-draining will have to be done on several occasions over the next few months at extra cost. The lifting will help with aeration below the surface and this will assist to disperse the water.
The issue around the pitch concerns the drainage and it will need a major review in the close-season with re-turfing and re-soiling a priority.
