Premier League giants Aston Villa visit London Road this evening (7.45pm) for the latest pre-season friendly fixture and Martin O'Neill will be bringing his first team squad.

All of the Villa players will be on show, with the exception of World Cup participants James Milner and Emile Heskey, who have been given extra time off.

Ashley Young, Brad Friedal, John Carew, Gabriel Agblonahor, Fabien Delph and many more stars will line-up against Gary Johnson's Posh side.

Posh will be without Gabriel Zakuani, Lee Frecklington, Chris Whelpdale, Nathan Koranteng and Tommy Rowe. Rowe is nursing a strain, while Whelpdale has a knock.

A club spokesman said: 'Aston Villa will be bringing a squad packed full of talented stars including Ashley Young to London Road and it is a wonderful opportunity for the Peterborough public to see a side full of internationals.'

Supporters will be able to pay on the turnstiles for this evening's fixture.
