The Peterborough United squad returned to pre-season training on Monday with temperatures reaching 27 degrees, making the double-session a challenging one for the players.

Manager Gary Johnson put the players through their paces with the first session mainly fitness and the afternoon session incorporated a seven-a-side game.

The players will train throughout this week before flying to Portgual where more work will be done ahead of the new campaign with the first pre-season friendly against West Ham United on Wednesday 14th July.
