Posh Heading To Priestfield

Posted on: Wed 19 May 2010

Peterborough United will face Coca-Cola League Two side Gillingham in a pre-season friendly fixture at Priestfield on Tuesday 20th July (7.45pm).

The Gills, who were relegated last term on the final day of the campaign, will be looking to bounce straight back and are currently mulling over their next appointment as manager.

Gillingham had striker Rene Howe on-loan at the club for much of the last campaign and the former Kettering Town front man won plaudits for how he led the line for the Gills.

Admission prices have yet to be confirmed for this fixture. Posh will also face Rushden and Diamonds on Saturday 17th July and three days earlier entertain West Ham United at London Road.
