Following hot on the heels of the announcement that Peterborough United will face West Ham United at London Road, the football club can today confirm that Gary Johnson's men will face one of the Blue Square Premier League's strongest sides.

Posh will travel to  Rushden and Diamonds on Saturday 17th July (3pm) and the Diamonds will prove a good test for Johnson's men after reaching the play-offs in that division last term.

Admission prices for this match will be announced soon. Posh are hopeful of confirming arrangements for another pre-season fixture on Thursday.
