Zak Back In Training

Posted on: Fri 16 Apr 2010
Peterborough United defender Gabriel Zakuani returned to training on Thursday and could be in contention for a starting berth at Reading on Saturday.

Zakuani missed the defeat to Leicester City with a groin injury, but after treatment, he was back on the training field and providing he comes through Friday's session, he will be considered for the clash at the Madejski Stadium.

Midfielder Lee Frecklington is also back in the squad after coming through training unscathed following a slight hamstring injury.

Mark Little, who played 45 minutes in the reserves against Stevenage Borough on Wednesday afternoon, is also back in the squad after three weeks on the sidelines.

Chris Whelpdale, Aaron Mclean, Izale McLeod, Liam Dickinson and Nathan Koranteng are all out, while Reuben Reid and Kerrea Gilbert have now returned to their parent clubs after their loan spells expired.
