Peterborough United will be looking to build on the mid-week 3-1 victory over Ipswich Town when they entertain Sheffield United at London Road on Saturday afternoon (3pm).
The Blades are out of form, with just one win in the last six matches and have only recorded two victories in the last nine away matches.
TEAM NEWS
Posh are hopeful that defender Gabriel Zakuani will be in the squad after returning to training this week. Josh Simpson is a doubt, but Kerrea Gilbert should be back after a spell on the sidelines. Izale McLeod is out with a knee injury.
Sheffield United will be without striker Darius Henderson, who received a straight red card for an off the ball incident; the former Watford forward will now be suspended for the trip to London Road as well as fixtures against Plymouth Argyle and Crystal Palace (at Selhurst Park). Welsh international Ched Evans and former Sheffield Wednesday striker Richard Cresswell will fight for his spot.
Blades boss Kevin Blackwell will once again be without Captain Chris Morgan (hip) and Marcel Seip (hamstring) through injury; midfielder Nick Montgomery is likely to take over the Captaincy during his absence.
Former Posh keeper Ian Bennett is likely to start this fixture on the substitute's bench; the shot stopper was signed on a free transfer from Newcastle United in March 1991 and went onto make 95 appearances until his departure to Birmingham City in December 1993.
MANAGER QUOTES
'Saturday is a great challenge for the players as they've shown against Ipswich and QPR that they can beat teams in the bottom half. Now they've got an opportunity to do it against a side pushing for the play-offs,' Gannon said.
MATCH DAY MAGAZINE
The match day magazine will be on sale inside the stadium and from the Club Shop priced at £3, featuring the exclusive notes from boss Jim Gannon.
