Williams Joins Preston In Loan Deal

Peterborough United defender Tommy Williams has joined Coca-Cola Championship rivals Preston North End on loan until the end of the season.

Williams, whose deal expires in the summer, has been involved in the first team of late and has played in a variety of roles, including left-back and centre back.

Manager Gannon said: 'Tommy is out of contract in the summer and we felt it was the best opportunity for him to go out and try and win a contract elsewhere. This is a good move for him.'
