Peterborough United manager Jim Gannon believes Middlesbrough will provide a much different proposition to when they faced Posh at London Road back in November.

Only one player that featured in the 2-2 draw is set to line up for Gordon Strachan's men at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday and Gannon believes Posh need to utilise the expected good surface to play some quick passing football against a side low on confidence.

'I think that Middlesbrough will have one player in their team that played in the game at London Road, so that shows just how much things have changed at the Riverside.

'They have had a complete overhaul, bringing a lot of players into the football club and I am sure that has revitalised the place and they believe they have a chance of getting promotion.

'I know quite a lot of their players myself as they performed in the Scottish Premier League and I am sure Gordon believes they can do a job at this level or he wouldn't of signed them.

'They have a had a lot of good players at Middlesbrough this season and it will be a tough test for my players, but I want them to have pride in their performance and play some good football,' Gannon said.

Gabriel Zakuani has been ruled out of the game, but could feature on Tuesday night against Ipswich Town, should he return to full training over the next few days.
