Peterborough United head to Hillsborough on Saturday afternoon (3pm) for arguably the biggest game of the season to date, knowing that a victory would boost the club's survival hopes.
The Owls, who appointed Alan Irvine as their new boss, a fortnight ago, have won back to back games and a victory against Posh would lift them clear of the drop zone.
TEAM NEWS
Posh are without the suspended Craig Morgan and Ryan Bennett, while it is unlikely that Gabriel Zakuani will recover from a groin strain.
Sheffield Wednesday re-signed Luke Varney from Derby County on-loan this week and he goes straight into the squad, boosting the club's attacking options for the clash with Posh.
ONE TO WATCH
Tom Soares is currently on-loan from Stoke City and has been in excellent form for the Owls since his arrival. The attacking midfielder has already scored for the club and is highly-rated by the Stoke management.
MANAGER QUOTES
'It's massively important now that we don't have two fantastic results on the road and then mess up at home, so we must go about our jobs on Saturday the way we have at Barnsley and against Blackpool.
It's massive for the players because they have been in the relegation zone too long. It's massive for the staff as well because it will help the players believe in what we're trying to do. They have shown a huge level of commitment so far and a great work ethic, which is a must with me. Now we must carry that ethic into game after game after game,' Owls boss Alan Irvine said.
'We know how important this fixture is and we will go there with confidence. We have worked hard on the training field all week. I watched Sheffield Wednesday at Blackpool this week and they played very well and deserevd the win,' Mark Cooper said.
