It has been a hectic week for new manager Mark Cooper and as he prepares his side for the clash against Sheffield United at Brammal Lane, he admits he still has decisions to make with regards to team selection.

Several players have staked a claim for a spot in the starting XI this week and Cooper will assess training on Friday before naming his line-up.

'Yeah it has been a bit of a crazy, chaotic week, but it is beginning to settle down and we have done a lot of work on the training pitch this week.

'I have got the majority of my team in my head complete but there are one or two other positions that I have yet to finalise, but we have another training session before we travel.

'People have asked me about the captain and we will make that decision on Friday afternoon when we travel, I have one or two names in mind.

'It is a difficult game on Saturday, we have to go there and be big and strong and more importantly organised. A lot of the work this week has been done defensively because we know this team will score goals.

'Sheffield United are a massive club, but we will go there to win the game. I am not interested in going there for a point, we need points to move up the table,' Cooper said.

The boss concedes that all of the media attention will be on his side this weekend, but he knows what to expect. 'I have gone out and bought a new suit, so I am ready,' Cooper added.
