Peterborough United face Newcastle United in the Carling Cup at London Road this evening (7.45pm) and supporters are urged to arrive at the stadium in plenty of time for kick-off with a big crowd expected.

Posh have sold over 7,200 tickets for the game with Newcastle selling over 2,000 in advance. The game is not all-ticket, but supporters are being urged to buy tickets in advance of kick-off with the Ticket Office open throughout the day.

Darren Ferguson's men reached round three of the competition following a hard-fought 2-1 win over Ipswich Town while Newcastle beat plucky Huddersfield Town in the last round.
