Peterborough United midfielder Sergio Torres has joined Coca-Cola League Two side Lincoln City on a one-month loan deal and will go straight into the squad ahead of the fixture with Shrewsbury Town

Lincoln care-taker manager Simon Clark watched Torres in action for the reserves against Norwich City on Wednesday afternoon and the deal was concluded following the final whistle.

Torres joined Posh from Wycombe Wanderers alongside club captain Russell Martin, but the form of Chris Whelpdale and Shaun Batt has seen first team opportunities limited.
