General Manager Departing London Road

Posted on: Fri 17 Jul 2009

Peterborough United General Manager Leigh Porter is set to leave the football club after being offered an exciting opportunity and a change in his career path.

Porter, who has been General Manager at London Road for over a year and spent nearly five years at the football club in a variety of roles, will take up his new job next week.

'I am obviously sad to be leaving Peterborough United because I have enjoyed my time at the club, but I have been offered a very exiting opportunity away from football and I am looking forward to the challenge.'

Chief Executive Bob Symns said 'On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Leigh for his hard work and dedication over the years, he has always wanted only the very best for the football club and we wish him all the best for the future.'
