Peterborough United winger Alfie Potter has agreed a season-long loan at Blue Square Premier League side Oxford United and subject to the paperwork being completed, he will meet his new team-mates later on Friday.

Potter, who enjoyed a loan stint with Kettering Town last term, is the latest signing for the U's who have made some notable additions to their squad as they try to secure promotion into the Football League.

The loan deal is with a view to a permanent move and Potter will be able to feature in the play-offs should Oxford reach them.
