Coutts Handed Number Seven Shirt

Posted on: Wed 01 Jul 2009

Peterborough United have announced their squad numbers for the 2009-2010 campaign with Scottish midfielder Paul Coutts handed the number seven shirt, while Lee Frecklington was given the number eight jersey.

New signings Tommy Rowe and Toumani Diagouraga were given 14 and 15 respectively, while Aaron Mclean and Craig Mackail-Smith will wear the same numbers once again. The players were put through their paces by the management team at the first day of pre-season training, with the squad completing a gym session, a track session and a mixed session at Woodlands, which involved plenty of running with the ball.

The players will complete double sessions this week before flying out to Marbella for a week-long training camp at the start of next week.
