Colchester United have issued the following statement for the attention of Peterborough United supporters:

'Should Posh manage to get promoted on Saturday, then Colchester United will do what they can to accommodate your celebrations. In that scenario, we would ask that you stay off the pitch at the final whistle so that your players can celebrate with you. If you invade the pitch, the players will be taken to the dressing rooms for their own safety.'
