Peterborough United can move closer to automatic promotion with a victory over Stockport County at London Road on Saturday as the Coca-Cola League One campaign enters the final few fixtures.
A win for Darren Ferguson's men would keep the gap to three points from Millwall and four from Milton Keynes Dons, although the latter still have a game in hand at Northampton Town to play.
TEAM NEWS
Posh are hoping that Lee Frecklington and Craig Morgan will be in the squad after long spells on the sidelines. The duo are unlikely to start, but could make the substitutes bench. Jamie Day (back) and Tom Williams (knee) are out, while winger Chris Whelpdale should be fit.
Boss Jim Gannon will be hoping Paul Turnbull and Leon McSweeney are fit to return for the game. Midfielder McSweeney missed Easter Monday's 2-1 defeat to Walsall through illness but could recover in time.
Fellow midfielder Turnbull is also hoping to regain fitness following an ankle injury suffered in the defeat to Leeds. However, Gannon does have a number of other injury concerns ahead of the weekend.
Defender James Tunnicliffe, who was also injured during the game against Leeds, remains sidelined as does striker Matty McNeil. But forward Peter Thompson did return from a collapsed lung against Walsall and should line-up against Posh. Meanwhile midfielder Carl Baker will not return this season as he recovers from an ankle injury.
ONE TO WATCH
Thompson scored plenty of goals in the Irish league before making the move to Stockport and with injuries decimating the Stockport squad, the Hatters will be looking for the powerful front man to lead the line expertly at London Road.
MANAGER QUOTES
'We were very disappointed to take one point from the Easter weekend, but the lads have responded well in training and we are all looking forward to the meeting with Stockport County. Our destiny is still in our own hands and we are raring to go. Hopefully there will be a big crowd and the fans will see a good performance,' Ferguson said.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The game kicks-off at 3pm and fans are advised to arrive early for the game with turnstiles open from 1.30pm. The Moyes End Terrace is open for Posh fans with supporters reminded to pay on the turnstile.
