Williams' Season Could Be Over

Posted on: Mon 06 Apr 2009

Peterborough United defender Tom Williams may have played his last game of the season after suffering a suspected medial knee ligament injury during the latter stages of Saturday's Coca-Cola League One clash at Oldham Athletic.

Williams will see the Consultant later on Monday, but the medical staff at London Road believe the injury will rule him out for the rest of the campaign. Williams has been a regular at left-back in recent weeks and the news will be a blow to boss Darren Ferguson ahead of the run-in.
