The nominations are:
Jermaine Beckford - Leeds United
Fabian Delph - Leeds United
Matty Fryatt - Leicester City
Craig Mackail-Smith - Peterborough United
Stephen Purches - Leyton Orient
In League One, previous monthly winners Jermaine Beckford and Fabian Delph of Leeds continue to be popular with voters. Despite a number of niggling injuries this term, Beckford has still netted an impressive 29 goals this term, while Delph's rapid progress has resulted in an increasing number of Premiership scouts making their way to Elland Road on a regular basis.
Leicester's Matty Fyatt is one of Beckford's rivals for the League One Golden Boot, with the Foxes' star currently one goal behind Beckford, while Peterborough frontman Craig Mackail-Smith and Stephen Purches of Leyton Orient also in contention.
Every month of the football season, four fans who have voted for the divisional winners get the chance to present the PFA Fans' Player of the Month Award to their football hero on the pitch at a home game. One of the yearly fan winners will be selected at random to win the overall prize of attending the prestigious PFA Player of the Year Awards Dinner.
The awards are endorsed by the players and supported by the Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two clubs and The Fans Supporters Federation. The PFA's commitment to this award confirms the organisation's belief that fans, as well as players, are the lifeblood of the game.
