Posh Refuse Two Bids For Hatch

Posted on: Fri 02 Jan 2009

Peterborough United have rejected two six-figure bids for striker Liam Hatch from Coca-Cola League Two sides Rotherham United and Shrewsbury Town and the club have also refused two enquires about taking the in-form front man on-loan until the end of the campaign.

Hatch, who has enjoyed a successful loan spell with Darlington, is due to return to training with Posh on Monday. He has been a revelation at the North East club and they were keen to extend the loan, but the club can confirm that Hatch will return at the start of next week.
