Peterborough United goalkeeper Joe Lewis was stretchered off during England Under 21 international fixture against Czech Republic with an ankle injury.

The England medical team believe the ankle is just bruised but a further assessment will be made on Wednesday morning.

The club are hoping the injury is not too serious and Joe will be available for the weekend clash against Colchester United at London Road.

 Midfielder Paul Coutts came on as a second half substitute in the Scottish Under 21 fixture against Northern Ireland at New Douglas Park.
