Keates And Westwood Ruled Out
Midfielder Dean Keates and defender Chris Westwood have been ruled out of Saturday's Coca-Cola League One clash at Carlisle United due to injury, while Sergio Torres will not be considered despite making a comeback in the reserves this week.
Keates featured for 30 minutes against Walsall last Saturday, but his knee injury flared up on Sunday and it hasn't settled down since, so he won't be making the long trip to Brunton Park.
Westwood has a calf problem and has yet to resume full training so manager Darren Ferguson will not risk him this weekend. Jamie Day is definitely out due to his back injury, but Gabriel Zakuani and Craig Morgan are both back after international duty this week.
'Gabriel was back on Thursday and he admitted he was tired after a 15-hour journey back from Congo. He only did some light jogging, but he will train on Friday and will be considered for the weekend. Craig is back on Friday after playing 90 minutes against Germany.
'Aaron Mclean and Shane Blackett are both in the 16 for the weekend game but I will make the decision on the final starting line-up as late as possible. Everyone is looking forward to the game, we are full of confidence and raring to go,' Ferguson told theposh.com.
