Darren Ferguson believes a sell-out crowd at London Road will produce a 'superb atmosphere' inside the stadium and the attraction of visitors Leeds United will ensure that 'everyone will be up for it'.

Ferguson was full of praise for the 2,000+ supporters that were at stadium:mk last weekend as goals from Craig Mackail-Smith and Dominic Green secured three points and believes the crowd of over 13,500 can play a massive part on Saturday.

'The supporters were tremendous at Milton Keynes and really got behind the players from start to finish and I am sure it will be no different this weekend when Leeds United visit London Road. It is a sell-out, the first in a league game for a number of years, and I am sure everyone will be up for it.

'It is another game that everyone relishes and is probably the first fixture that everyone looked for when the fixtures were released. Leeds are a massive club with a huge fan-base and they will be focussed on securing promotion this term after narrowly missing out last season.

'Gary McAllister was an excellent player who played the game in the right way and he has changed the style of Leeds in the last year or so. They will get the ball down and we like to pass the ball so it should be an entertaining encounter for everyone present.

'We are at home so we will be going for the victory. I am confident the players have the temperament to cope with the atmosphere, just like they did at stadium:mk and everyone can't wait for kick-off,' Ferguson told theposh.com.
