Posh v Leeds SOLD OUT
Peterborough United's Coca-Cola League One fixture with Leeds United has SOLD OUT with a crowd of over 13,500 expected at London Road on Saturday (12pm).
The final few tickets were snapped up on Thursday by supporters keen to witness the first league meeting between the two sides. Leeds sold out their 4,200 allocation and Posh have over 3,600 season ticket holders at the football club with the remaining areas now sold.
Due to the segregation issues between home and away supporters in the Main Stand, the official capacity of the stadium has been reduced. The football club would like to urge supporters to stay away from the stadium on Saturday unless they have a ticket.
'It is fantastic news that the crowd will be so large for what promises to be an entertaining fixture. We are expecting a crowd of over 13,500 for the match and the reason that there is a reduced capacity is because hospitality, segregation and safety restrictions.
'It is one of the biggest games of the season and everyone is looking forward to it. We would urge all supporters to arrive early for the match with turnstiles open earlier than normal, two hours prior to kick-off at 10am,' Commercial Manager Leigh Porter said.
