Tyler Joins Championship Side Watford

Posted on: Thu 02 Oct 2008

Goalkeeper Mark Tyler has joined Championship side Watford on an emergency loan deal until 28th October with the experienced shot-stopper set to provide competition for places at Vicarage Road.

Tyler is the club's longest serving player, but has been displaced between the sticks by Joe Lewis. Watford are managed by former Posh coach Aidy Boothroyd and they were on the receiving end of the 'goal that never was' in a recent Championship fixture against Reading.

Tyler is likely to be involved in tonight's fixture with Burnley.
