MANAGER QUOTES
'Hartlepool are a well-drilled side and they have two decent strikers who are scoring goals, so we know it will be difficult. However, I will be saying that ahead of most games this season, we all know is about how we perform and I have told the lads what I expect of them,' Ferguson said.

ONE TO WATCH
Hartlepool front man James Brown has all supporters of the Monkey Hangers 'feeling good' and speculation that he might leave ahead of the transfer window have been dismissed by the club. He has started the season in good goal-scoring form and will be a major threat.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
James Brown has signed a new contract at Hartlepool to the relief of boss Danny Wilson. 'It's important we keep the best players at the club and try and add to them as well because we have a responsibility to get the best players you can at this football club to perform and James is certainly one of those.

'He has got a bright future, a big future but at this moment in time he has got a bit of security and we have got a bit of security in him as well. That's something I'm delighted about for the club and for James.' Brown has three goals to his name this season, after being moved from the right wing to a forward role.
