Lewis Helps England Under 21s To Victory
Goalkeeper Joe Lewis helped the England under 21s record a 2-1 friendly victory over Slovenia in an international friendly fixture at the KC Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Lewis was named in the starting line-up by manager Stuart Pearce and looked composed whilst in possession, his handling was excellent and was not at fault for the Slovenian's goal, which was a clever finish.
It was Lewis' second cap for his country and he was the only member of the team to be playing his football outside of the top two divisions. Lewis was replaced at half-time by Tom Heaton.
Craig Morgan is set to start for Wales against Georgia on Wednesday evening.
