Subject to a medical, Peterborough United have agreed a deal for Wycombe Wanderers midfielder Sergio Torres with the deal set to be completed on Monday following manager Darren Ferguson's return from the pre-season training camp in Marbella.

Torres, 27 tomorrow, is a stylish midfielder who can play centrally or on the right hand side of midfield and has made 57 league starts in three years at Adams Park. The Argentinean has been extremely popular at Wycombe and is the third player to move to Posh from the club in the last year, following Tom Williams and Russell Martin to London Road.
