Pitch Undergoes Maintenance Work
The season has finished and work has already begun on preparing the London Road pitch for the 2008-2009 campaign with the surface being re-laid to provide the team with another excellent pitch to perform on.
Over £20,000 has been spent in additional drainage, lazer-levelling and re-surfacing the pitch for the new League One season. The work is being carried out by Sports Turf and everyone is looking forward to another superb playing surface.
Chief Executive Bob Symns told theposh.com: 'A quality playing surface has been vital in encouraging the style of football that we have all enjoyed at London Road this season and has under-pinned our determination to sustain and improve upon it during the 'close season'. Payback will be more quality football and another promotion.'
