Club Fined Over Wrexham Incident

Peterborough United Football Club have been fined £2,000 for the melee against Wrexham at London Road on Saturday 9th February, a game that saw Joe Lewis stretchered off with a nasty facial injury.

The club attended the FA hearing on Thursday and pleaded mitigating circumstances. The maximum punishment for the incident could have been a £10,000 fine and a 2 point deduction.
