Potter Presented With Award

Posted on: Tue 19 Feb 2008

Alfie Potter was presented with the FA Cup Player of the Round trophy on Friday following his exploits in the competition with Havant and Waterlooville where he scored against Premier League giants Liverpool.

Potter was awarded the trophy at the training ground ahead of the weekend clash with Barnet and will also watch the FA Cup final as a VIP later this year. Potter will also receive training equipment to donate to a school of his choice in the Havant area.

Craig Mackail-Smith won the award in Round Two for his four goals against Staines. Potter was delighted to win the award and thanked the supporters for voting for him.

'I would like to say thank you to everyone who voted for me on the FA website. I am delighted to win the award and can't wait for the final at Wembley. It was a great day at Anfield and one I will never forget,' Potter told theposh.com.
