Peterborough United youngster Alfie Potter has this afternoon joined Blue Square Premier side Grays Athletic on a months loan deal.

Posh manager Darren Ferguson admitted that Potter needs to gain more experience before stepping into the first team.

'Alfie just needs to get more games under his belt. He has great potential but the problem in playing him in the reserve games is that there are often large gaps in the season so the matches are not as regular.'
